Overview

The Blood Donor Registry connects donors with those in need across the community. It is the most fully developed community tool in the platform, with five integrated sections.

Home Tab

• Live banner showing critical requests in your region
• Community stats — active donors, units donated, lives saved
• AI predictive match insight for anticipated shortages
• Quick actions: donate, request, find nearby donors
• Top urgent requests previewed on the dashboard
• Personal impact statistics for each donor

Requests Tab

Filter requests by urgency — All, Critical, Urgent, or Routine. Each request card displays:

• Blood group and units needed
• Hospital and patient information
• Urgency badge with visual emphasis for critical cases
• Distance and estimated travel time
• AI match score showing how well you match the request
• Respond button to offer donation

My Card — Donor Profile

A virtual donor identity card for every registered donor:

• Blood group, name, location
• Last donation date and eligibility status (90-day rule)
• Donation streak tracking
• Availability toggle for emergency alerts
• Health profile — weight, age, recent illness, haemoglobin
• Achievement badges — Bronze, Rapid, Verified

AI Assist

A conversational assistant for blood donation queries:

• Pre-set suggestion chips — eligibility, camps, shortage predictions, diet tips
• Contextual AI responses tailored to the donor
• 7-day demand forecast chart by blood group
• Guidance on donation preparation and recovery
